What a day! After visiting the sea port village at San Diego, headed to the best pizza place ever – Bronx Pizza. Wasn’t entirely sure why Sri kept talking about this place on our road trip, until we got there. The pizza here rates as the best I have had so far. Post that, went to an awesomely chilled out place called pizza port. While the name might suggest I needed more pizza for the day, its actually a micro-brewery. Very beach-side kinda place and good energy. Managed to catch the first half of the Ned vs Costa Rica match there.
Next stop – LA. What a mad mad city. Very touristy thanks to its opulence and what it truly stands for. Ended up doing the touristy stuff as expected with a long walk on the hollywood walk of fame. Street actors and shopping all along this stretch is worth the experience. Drove around beverly hills and rodeo drive, ate at Sharky’s before watching a musical based on the soundtracks and scenes from Tarantino movies. Unbloodybelievable performace by over a dozen actors and musicians. Kept us going for two hours. One of the best live shows in my list so far.
